the spirit level is a closed system. it‘s components are a pvc tube filled with absinth, a time controlled drilling machine and a pump. an air bubble residing inside of the tube at the highest point of the circle is drawn to the point just before the entrance of the pump in just a few seconds by the time controlled drilling machine. subsequently the air bubble is returning slowly and silently to it‘s point of departure.
