"volume" is composed of 88 loudspeakers arranged in a rectangular grid. with the help of a frequency below the human hearing range (5hz) the pictogram for "volume" is displayed on this "audio-pixel-screen": the membranes of the respective speakers vibrate silently but visible. the pictogram itself consists of 4 parts: a loudspeaker and three soundwaves.
