two drilling machines are connected with the aid of a threaded rod. an aluminium sphere with a centered thread encloses the rod. the sphere is moved by the right machine to the left and by the left machine to the right.always only one machine is active while the other one is idle running. although the drilling machines run in a high number of revolutions the movement of the sphere is in slow motion. through rearward support the aluminium sphere shoves itself forward without rotation.
